** Work. That's all I've been doing while playing the wait game for the nursing program. Work has become more stressful. Why? Because the Avalon nursing department needed to implementing some changes, one of which has taken 3 months to plan and get ready for. Now 2 weeks ago, we started with the new restorative and dining room program. The first couple days were rocky, but we expected it would like with any major change. I was helping out at 6am every morning trying to train my staff according to the new procedure. It seriously was a success after the first couple days :) A lot of my time, and preparation went into this new program. After 7 days of the change I got an ear full on why the new change wasn't working for Avalon. The benefits of the new changes were clearly explained to all department heads a week prior to the change. There was no objection then. No one but the nursing department saw the awesome benefits. Because the restorative program was put into place, most of the patients skin issues are resolved in the building, and more time is put into patient care. It's so awesome!
** Scott (my dear cousin) and Drue were just sealed in the draper temple. We could not be more happy for them. It was a beautiful reception. My nephew Jaxon is still warming up to J. Not quite there just yet, but sweet J loves him to pieces.
**Kinect. Joe and have been having such a blast with our kinect. We can dance, workout, do water sports, and so much more...it's a blast. Us girls got together and danced. Val made a delicious egg and bacon croissant dinner, what a treat.
** J's New Toy. AR15. Don't know much about the gun. It makes J happy, so I'm happy for him to have it.
